Pollena first came across the beat for 'Away' on producer and DJ, Max Wheeler's Instagram, and it instantly clicked. Max didn’t know at the time that before he agreed to work with Pollena, she already got down most of the topline ideas by recording the IG video from her phone into her mic, making a cheeky loop and having a play. Its hypnotic vibe isn't refined into a stereotypical structure, it’s embracing acceptance and hope
